This is how you are going to take your UGC income from 1k a month to 10k a month 💸 There is an actual strategy to growing your income, and it’s not necessarily taking on more collaborations. Something people don’t talk about it that UGC is very dependent on your capacity, and at some point you will cap out because you simply cannot handle more in your load, unless you strategically raise your income. 1. Follow up with brands you have already worked with. I reach back out to brands I have worked with on a monthly to quarterly basis, depending on how busy I am. They already know you, and like you. And you already know the brand and their target audience. It is a win, win. 2. Ask for monthly retainers after you work with a brand. Showcase the value of a monthly contract for the brand. This could be creating monthly organic OR paid media. At any point in time I have 3-5 monthly contracts going so my income can be more consistent and I know what gaps I need to fill to hit my income goals. 3. UPSELL, UPSELL, UPSELL! Increase the payout for the brands you are already working with. You can charge for paid rights, extra hooks, voiceover variation. They possibilities are endless. You can offer these upsells in the negotiation period, or you can create the extra content when you are filming, watermark it, and sell it to the brand when you turn in your content. Brands are even more likely to buy extra content that is already done, and they love. 4. NEGOTIATE. I know its uncomfy, DO IT ANYWAY FRIEND. you are never going to charge your value if you don’t simple ASK.
